National Training Opportunities

Alcohol Focus Scotland offers a range of training courses to help people understand, manage and prevent the harm caused by alcohol.

Fundamentals of FASD training are designed to give Health and Social Care professionals in Scotland a detailed overview of FASD. Training provided is free, delivered online and usually lasts for 90 minutes.

Scottish Drugs Forum delivers general and specialist training on drug-related issues for a range of agencies and through a number of approaches.  Training is delivered for a diverse range of learners who engage with people with drug problems, including: drug workers, needle exchange workers, college workers, workers in services working with vulnerable young people, housing staff, GPs and people who are stable/former drug users.
