FACILITATING DISCLOSURES OF SELLING SEX

If you have supported women who you suspect to be involved in the sex industry but are unsure how to approach the conversation, this session is for you. We will also address key considerations for next steps once a disclosure is made.

Additionally, we offer tailored training for teams and organisations. If you would like to find out more, please email Enquiries@WomensSupportProject.org.uk

This session will cover the following topics:

  • Barriers and motivators regarding women’s disclosures of selling or exchanging sex
  • Challenges faced by workers in facilitating these disclosures
  • Key considerations for managing disclosures
  • Next steps: addressing women’s support needs.

Important: you will be contacted if you are offered a space. Unlike webinars, our training sessions are not recorded and are limited to 8-14 participants. Please only express your interest if you can attend.

Care Opinion Logo

Health & Social Care North Lanarkshire has signed up to Care Opinion, a website which allows patients to share their stories online.

Care Opinion is an independent, not-for-profit, website that gives patients and carers a way of voicing what they think of the services they receive.

We will listen to positive and negative comments and respond to those in a way that is honest, supportive and constructive.

We will use this feedback to make our services in North Lanarkshire the best they can be.
