  • Offer opportunities to meet our team, explore our services, and learn more about our approach to recovery.
  • Create a relaxed, stigma-free space where people can connect, ask questions, and feel part of a supportive network. This day will set the tone for a month of openness, inclusion, and celebration.

We are proud to celebrate the recent training and onboarding of new volunteers in North Lanarkshire. To honour their contributions and sustain momentum, we will host a volunteer get together mid-month. This gathering will:
  • Bring together volunteers, staff, and community members for a day of recognition, connection, and celebration.
  • Reinforce our commitment to community-led recovery and the vital role volunteers play in our mission
  • Recovery Walk Scotland, Stirling 2025
    Date: Saturday, 27th September
    Location: Stirling
NLRC and FVRC staff, volunteers, and community members will gather before the Recovery Walk Scotland to connect, reflect, and walk together as a united and visible group.
  • Ice Dip Challenge & Yoga Session
    Date: September, date TBC
    Location: Vida Sauna and Ice
Our Team Lead, Stuart, has organised a bold and invigorating Ice Dip Challenge. Staff, volunteers, and community members are invited to take the plunge as a symbolic gesture of resilience.
For those who prefer a gentler path, we will also offer a relaxing yoga session, providing space for mindfulness, movement, and reflection. This dual offering ensures everyone can participate in a way that suits them, while reinforcing our values of inclusion, wellbeing, and shared experience.

Care Opinion Logo

Health & Social Care North Lanarkshire has signed up to Care Opinion, a website which allows patients to share their stories online.

Care Opinion is an independent, not-for-profit, website that gives patients and carers a way of voicing what they think of the services they receive.

We will listen to positive and negative comments and respond to those in a way that is honest, supportive and constructive.

We will use this feedback to make our services in North Lanarkshire the best they can be.
