Feedback on addiction services

Sep 9, 2025 | News

North Lanarkshire Addiction Recovery Teams (ARTs) provide assessment, care, treatment and support to individuals whose health and well-being is impacted due to their alcohol and/or drug use.

In collecting evidence to support the implementation of the medicated assisted treatment (MAT) standards, service users and their families, are invited to provide feedback on their experience of using the services.

The priority is to improve the lives for those affected by substance use and their families by putting lived experience at the heart of any improvements in services.

This priority rests on the key principle that people have the right to contribute to and influence the decisions that affect their life’s choices and life chances. By involving service users, their experiences of using the service will be used to inform improvements going forward.

An opportunity to feedback views will be offered at each appointment within addictions services.

Care Opinion Logo

Health & Social Care North Lanarkshire has signed up to Care Opinion, a website which allows patients to share their stories online.

Care Opinion is an independent, not-for-profit, website that gives patients and carers a way of voicing what they think of the services they receive.

We will listen to positive and negative comments and respond to those in a way that is honest, supportive and constructive.

We will use this feedback to make our services in North Lanarkshire the best they can be.
