Reach Advocacy – A Rights-Based Approach to Advocacy for Children and Young People

A Rights-Based Approach to Advocacy for Children and Young People: Half- day workshop

This workshop looks at the role of human rights for children and young people, and the use of advocacy to support people. We will cover the existing policy framework in Scotland, particularly the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). Participants will gain knowledge of these tools, valuable across advocacy, education, and other support for children and young people.

Suitable for: People working with children and young people across services, those an interest in understanding the policy landscape for advocacy and Children’s rights, statutory services, third sector services, community groups.

Reach Advocacy is an SQA Approved training provider, promoting education in human rights, justice, and advocacy. We work nationally delivering workshops and our accredited training course within the workforce and communities.
