How should mental health and substance use services work together? Where to start? The development of local interface guidance can help build relationships between services and create a shared understanding of how to support people with co-occurring conditions locally.
Speakers include:

- James Hill – Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Addiction Services, North Ayrshire HSCP
- Ross Cheape – Service Manager, Inpatient, Emergency, Forensic and Perinatal Mental Health, NHS Forth Valley
- Leanne Gauld – Integrated Service Manager, Mental Health, NHS Forth Valley
- Mike Reid – General Manager, Mental Health and Addictions, West Lothian HSCP
You will hear the experiences of three areas across Scotland in developing Interface Guidance, and what else they are doing to support its effective implementation. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and to find out how the National Mental Health and Substance Use Protocol can support you.
