Listening and Learning, a Q&A Panel for Parents and Caregivers

Listening and Learning, a Q&A Panel for Parents and Caregivers. This will take place on Monday 9th June at 7pm in our office at One Wellwynd, 35 Wellwynd Airdrie ML6 0BN

Join Hope for Autism for an insightful Q&A panel where autistic young adults share the experiences and insights they feel could have made a difference for their parents and carers. This is an opportunity to learn directly from those with lived experiences and ask the questions that matter most. Take this chance to deepen your understanding, learn, and engage with the panel.

Every parent and carer wants to do their best, and sometimes the most valuable advice comes from those who’ve lived through it. The panel will consist of a mix of autistic HOPE staff members and service users.

Please submit your questions in advance to Fiona Beggs (Fiona.beggs@hopeforautism.org.uk), who will collect them and facilitate the evening. This is a free workshop and if you would like to book a space, you can do so at our Eventbrite page; https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/listening-and-learning-a-qa-panel-for-parents-and-care-givers-tickets-1205563295269

Health & Social Care North Lanarkshire has signed up to Care Opinion, a website which allows patients to share their stories online.

Care Opinion is an independent, not-for-profit, website that gives patients and carers a way of voicing what they think of the services they receive.

We will listen to positive and negative comments and respond to those in a way that is honest, supportive and constructive.

We will use this feedback to make our services in North Lanarkshire the best they can be.
