Criminal Exploitation of Children (CEC) Awareness Raising
To support practitioners to safeguard children who are being criminally exploited, the Children and Young People’s Centre for Justice (CYCJ) and Action for Children, including young people and their families, have developed a framework for practice in this area. This framework aims to offer direction and guidance to practitioners who might work with children who are experiencing exploitation.
To introduce the framework, CYCJ are a offering specific sessions to practitioners in North Lanarkshire.
The first session is a 2.5 hour introduction to child criminal exploitation. The session will equip practitioners with an awareness of child criminal exploitation and introduce them to the framework.
