16 Days of Action – Women with No Recourse to Public Funds Seminar

North Lanarkshire Violence Against Women Strategic Group have organised a seminar to consider the needs of women who have experienced gender-based violence and have no recourse to public funds. It will consider how best to support this group of women and will refer to the updated COSLA guidance on Migrants Rights and Entitlements.

The seminar will be opened by Stephen Llewelyn Chief Officer (Housing Management) and will be chaired by Alison Gordon, Chief Social Work Officer. Speakers will include Francesca Sella, Associate Solicitor Just Right Scotland  Sarah Jack, Solicitor Drummond Miller and Ann Hayne, Gender Based Violence Manager and Operational Advisor on Gender Based Violence for NHS Lanarkshire.
